Animal and Magical Creature RP

Summary:

  • Being a bear or other animal does not remove the need to roleplay before aggression.

  • Animals cannot speak english due to their vocal cords and lips so you'll need to be creative to communcate with those outside of your caste.

Animal Speech

Animals do not have human lips or vocal cords and therefore cannot speak english. Therefore please refrain from speaking when in animal form around other castes. You MAY speak aloud in a whispered tone to others of your caste, whether transformed or no, with the concept that a Bezerker might understand another Bezerker in bear form but for the most part transformed players should be creative to communicate using /me commands or emotes in the animal animations menu.

Proper usage of the /me command: "/me I do not like how you are speaking to me" - NO "/me dips my chin down and growls menacingly" - YES "/me Would agree wholeheartedly" - NO "/me yips and bounces, wagging tail" - YES "/me I'm feeling mischievous and want to cause chaos" - NO "/me pulls at Em's boot laces, trying to untie them" - YES "/me I want to go through the door" - NO "/me whines and barks at the door" - YES The former (in red) are improper ways to use the /me command and are classified as Fail RP, resulting in being pulled into a ticket. The latter (in green) are corrections on how you can get your point across in an emotive way.

Violence Rules for Animals

The violence guidelines for animals are the same as for human characters - you must initiate significant roleplay prior to violence and your intended victim should know that you plan to initiate with them.
